Editor Tour: Panels and Timeline

Setup

• Sign in to the workspace that owns the project.
• Open a generated project from Projects.
• Required files or assets: none. Use a desktop browser so the panels and timeline are visible.

Step by step

1. Open a ready project

Go to Projects and open a project card marked Ready to export. Do not use the Create Project card.

2. Watch the video preview tip

The editor opens with a built-in tour. The first tip points to the preview area where you watch the current edit.

3. Review the editing toolkit

Click Next.

The second tip points to the left sidebar. Use AI, Videos, Images, Tools, Audio, Text, and Edits to move between editor panels.

4. Find the timeline

Click Next.

The third tip points to the lower timeline, where clips, captions, and audio are arranged over time.

5. Locate export

Click Next.

The fourth tip points to Export in the top-right corner. Click Got it! when you are done with the tour.

If something blocks you

• No ready project appears in Projects: create a project first, then return to this guide after it reaches the editor.
• The tour does not appear: the tour opens automatically when you enter the editor. If it is missing, refresh the page.
• The timeline is still loading: wait for the video preview, timeline ruler, and clip tracks to appear before continuing.

Done

You know where to preview the edit, switch editor panels, read the timeline, and start export.

Next actions:

• Open the panel for the change you want to make next.
• Preview the full edit before clicking Export.
