Setup
- Sign in to the workspace whose pronunciation rules you want to update.
- Confirm the workspace has access to the Brand Dictionary feature.
- Required files or assets: none. Have the brand term, preferred written spelling, or pronunciation guide ready before you edit. Each field accepts up to 120 characters, and Brand Dictionary saves up to 50 unique terms.
Step by step
1. Open Brand Kit
From the workspace sidebar, open Brand Kit.
The Brand Kit page appears with Identity and Assets sections.
2. Open Dictionary
In Assets, click Dictionary.
The dictionary panel opens. If the workspace has no custom entries yet, it shows No terms added.

3. Add a term
Click Add term, then enter the brand word in Term.
Use Term for the word Bevyl should recognize, such as a company name, product name, or branded phrase.
4. Add spelling and pronunciation guidance
Fill Spelled as when the term should appear differently in written scripts or captions.
Fill Pronounced as when voiceover should say the term a specific way, such as a phonetic pronunciation.
Bevyl autosaves dictionary rows after you stop editing. Wait for the save status to finish before leaving the page.
5. Preview the pronunciation
When Term and Pronounced as are filled, click the speaker button (Preview pronunciation).
Bevyl generates an audio preview for that row. If the preview does not sound right, edit Pronounced as and preview again.
6. Remove terms you no longer need
Click the Remove term trash icon on the row to delete it.
Bevyl keeps at least one empty row available so you can add another term.
Bevyl saves dictionary rows in Brand Kit. Spelled as entries feed spelling guidance for generated scripts and captions; Pronounced as entries sync pronunciation rules for voiceover.
