The Brand Guardrails tab in Brand Kit with fields for Brand Hashtags, Do's, and Don'ts

Setup

  • Sign in to the workspace whose brand rules you want to update.
  • Open Brand Kit and gather the rules your team wants Bevyl to follow.
  • Required files or assets: none. Have your hashtags, content themes, approved language, and off-limits language or topics ready before you edit.

Step by step

1. Open Brand Kit

From your workspace, open Brand Kit.

The page title changes to Brand Kit, with the Identity section on the left.

2. Open the Brand Guardrails tab

In Identity, click Brand Guardrails.

The tab shows the message "Define the hashtags, do's, and don'ts Bevyl should follow."

3. Enter the hashtags Bevyl should use

In Brand Hashtags, enter the hashtags that should consistently travel with your brand.

Keep this field focused on hashtags Bevyl can reuse across branded content.

4. Add content do's and don'ts

In Do's, enter what content should emphasize or consistently lean into.

In Don'ts, enter what content should avoid or never include.

5. Save the changes

Click Save changes.

Bevyl saves the guardrails to the active brand context. When the manual save finishes, the page shows a Brand guardrails saved confirmation.

If something blocks you

  • Save changes is disabled: make an edit in Brand Hashtags, Do's, or Don'ts, then try again.
  • You are in the wrong workspace: switch workspaces before editing Brand Kit.
  • The save does not complete: keep the tab open and retry Save changes after the page finishes loading.

Done

Your brand guardrails are saved when the updated text remains in Brand Guardrails and Bevyl confirms Brand guardrails saved.

Next actions:

  • Review Brand Context so Bevyl has the brand background to pair with these rules.
  • Create or update a project that should follow the saved guardrails.
