The Brand Context tab in Brand Kit with editable brand fields

Setup

  • Sign in to the workspace whose brand context you want to update.
  • Open Brand Kit before editing core brand fields.
  • Required files or assets: none. Have your current brand positioning, audience, tone, and style notes ready before you edit.
  • Use this guide for the core Brand Context fields only. Products, personas, and spokespeople are managed in nearby fields on the same tab.

Step by step

1. Open Brand Kit

From the workspace sidebar, click Brand Kit.

The Brand Kit page opens with the Identity section and brand controls.

2. Open Brand Context

In Identity, click Brand Context.

The top of the editable brand fields appears, including Brand Name, Brand Snapshot, Flagship Products, and Target Personas.

3. Update the brand summary fields

Enter the current company name in Brand Name, then update Brand Snapshot with the concise overview Bevyl should understand.

These fields give Bevyl the baseline identity and positioning saved for the workspace.

4. Clarify the problem and difference

Fill in Problem / Solution with the problem your brand solves and how you solve it.

Use Differentiators to name what makes the brand meaningfully different.

5. Set voice guidance

Use Voice & Tone to describe how the brand should sound across scripts, captions, and messaging.

Be concrete about style, energy, and language Bevyl should prefer or avoid.

Stay on Brand Context for positioning updates. Use Brand Guardrails only when you need to update rules, hashtags, do's, or don'ts.

6. Save your changes

Click Save changes.

When the save finishes, Bevyl shows Brand context saved.

If something blocks you

  • Save changes is disabled: change at least one field, then try again.
  • Changes do not stick after refresh: return to the correct workspace and save again; contact support if the same values disappear.
  • You need to update products, personas, or spokespeople: stay on Brand Context, but use the dedicated fields for those items instead of adding them into the core summary fields.

Done

Your core Brand Context fields are updated when Bevyl shows Brand context saved.

Next actions:

  • Review Brand Guardrails if you need to update content do's, don'ts, or hashtags.
  • Start a new project to check whether the updated context matches your campaign needs.
