Choose the Right Video Format

Pick the Bevyl project format that matches your footage and audio path.

Setup

Sign in to the workspace where you will create the draft.
Review your footage and decide whether it already has usable speech, needs narration, or should follow a trend sound template.
Have your source videos ready to upload or already available in Source Videos. For Narrated Story, have a voice profile ready. For Trending Sounds, know which trend sound you want as the draft's audio track.

Step by step

1. Open Projects

Go to Projects in the sidebar and click Create project.

2. Choose the format

On the What video format would you like to use? screen, choose Narrated Story, Trending Sounds, or Talking Head based on the audio path you want Bevyl to use.

Use the audio path as the narrow decision point:

If your draft should use...	Choose...	What Bevyl does
Narration over product shots, process clips, or b-roll	`Narrated Story`	Scripts and generates a voiceover for your raw footage
A beat-synced edit that should follow a specific trend recipe	`Trending Sounds`	Uses the selected trend sound as the audio track, sets the draft length from that sound, and cuts your footage to the trend rhythm
Someone already speaking on camera	`Talking Head`	Retains the spoken dialogue from your raw footage

The format also sets the generated draft length guidance:

Format	Draft length guidance
`Narrated Story`	15-45 seconds
`Trending Sounds`	4-30 seconds
`Talking Head`	15-60 seconds

Trending Sounds is the most template-led format. Each trend can have its own sound length, cut rhythm, and recommended raw footage needs. Choose Narrated Story or Talking Head when you want more open control over duration, clip order, or pacing.

3. Continue to inputs

After choosing a format, click Next step to open the input step.

Select at least one source video, then complete the extra choice for your format:

Narrated Story: select a voice profile.
Talking Head: keep the original video audio.
Trending Sounds: select the trend sound Bevyl should use for the draft, then review the recipe details for length, rhythm, and suggested raw moments.

Click Next step when it becomes available.

If something blocks you

No format feels right: choose by the audio path you want Bevyl to use, not by channel alone.
Next step is disabled: select at least one source video, then finish the required voice or trend selection for the format.

Done

You are done when the create flow advances to the prompt step for the format you selected.
