A mashup of Drake's "Passionfruit" and Kaytranada's "You're The One" that blends into a warm, nostalgic groove. It carries no set text-overlay or caption format. Brands use it as a backing track for slow, summer-leaning footage.
The "Passionfruit x You're The One" sound blends two source tracks: "Passionfruit," a tropical house and R&B song by Drake released March 28, 2017, from the playlist project More Life, which debuted at number eight on the US Billboard Hot 100; and "YOU'RE THE ONE," a house and R&B track by KAYTRANADA featuring Syd, released May 6, 2016, on his debut album 99.9%. A DJ mashup combining the two circulated under the handle JAYKAY, whose version appeared on TikTok (@jaykay.mp3), SoundCloud, and YouTube under titles including "Drake x KAYTRANADA" and "JayKay Mashup," with the TikTok post captioned as a "summer mashup." Multiple independent edits of the same pairing also circulated across platforms, and by 2025 the blended sound had become a recurring background track for lifestyle and fashion b-roll content.
